Privacy Policy

ParkTime is a neighborhood app for dog park communities: members check in to say they're at a park now, or planning to be later, so neighbors know who's around. Communities are private — new members answer a few questions and an admin approves them before they can see anything.

From Facebook, when you log in:

• Your name and profile photo
• Your email address, if Facebook shares it with us (it doesn't always)

Information you add yourself:

• An optional "About Me" bio
• Your dogs' names, breeds, and photos
• Answers to a community's verification questions when requesting to join
• Optional notes you add to a check-in

Activity we record:

• Which community(ies) you're a member of, and your role (member or admin)
• Check-ins: which park, and whether you're there now or planning to be later

Only people your community's admin has approved as members can see your check-in activity, dog info, and About Me bio — never the general public, and never anyone who hasn't been approved. Your answers to verification questions are visible only to that community's admins, for the purpose of reviewing your request. We don't sell your information or share it with advertisers.

To run the app: showing you and your neighbors who's at the park, letting admins review join requests, and sending you in-app notifications about things like a new join request or a decision on yours. Facebook Login is used only to verify you're a real person — we don't post to Facebook on your behalf or access your Facebook friends list.

Data is stored with our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Neon), who process it on our behalf under their own security practices. We don't use any other third-party analytics or advertising services.

You can request deletion of your account and everything tied to it at any time — see our Data Deletion page for how.

ParkTime is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
